Each year Afghanistan's Malaria and other Vector-borne disease program celebrates World Malaria day to highlight the need for continued investment and sustained political commitment to malaria prevention and control. This year, the World Malaria Day celebration will be held in the Capital of Afghanistan, Kabul, and in two zones (Nangarhar and Herat). In addition, the 34 provinces of Afghanistan will also celebrate on this day.
