4 December 2019, Geneva – The RBM Partnership to End Malaria welcomes the publication of the World Malaria Report 2019, which demonstrates that global investments and action against malaria are making a big difference, yet half the world – overwhelmingly the most vulnerable - are still at the greatest risk of dying from a mosquito bite.

Geneva, 10 October – The RBM Partnership to End Malaria welcomed today’s announcement by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria that it raised US$14.02 billion for its next three-year funding cycle. Today’s announcement at the 6th Replenishment Conference hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron, in Lyon, is expected to help save 16 million lives, avert 234 million infections by 2023 and make a significant contribution towards meeting the Sustainable Development Goals target of ending AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics by 2030.
9 October, Lyon, France -- Today, on the sidelines of the Global Fund Replenishment Conference, the RBM Partnership to End Malaria convened global health leaders and experts to discuss and share lessons from the role that regional cross border collaborations play in accelerating malaria elimination.
Malaria stands in the way of the global ambitions driving all the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—this was the main message of the RBM Partnership to End Malaria at this year’s United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The RBM Partnership used the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly to advocate how malaria elimination can help advance the achievement of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and broader SDGs.
